A stocky dragon that eats rocks and fires lava balls. Surprisingly durable and affectionate. Meatlug is beloved by Fishlegs.

An underground-dwelling dragon covered in rotating spines. Fires multiple rings of fire. Highly territorial and holds grudges.

Known as: Grump (Gruñón) — Gobber

A cousin of the Gronckle, even lazier. Grump is Gobber's dragon, perpetually sleepy but capable of powerful lava blasts.

Known as: Stormfly (Tormenta) — Astrid

Considered the most beautiful of dragons. Has the most accurate fire of any species, fires magnesium and poisonous tail spines.

A powerful tracking dragon with extraordinary smell. Stoick rode Skullcrusher. Later Eret's mount. Loyal and incredibly strong.

Known as: Barf & Belch (Eructo y Regüeldo) — Ruffnut & Tuffnut

A two-headed dragon. One head expels flammable gas, the other ignites it. Unpredictable and chaotic, like its riders Ruffnut and Tuffnut.

A majestic four-winged dragon. Cloudjumper took Valka from Berk and they formed a deep 20-year bond. Exceptionally intelligent and graceful.

Collects and wears bones as armor. Cannot roar without its complete suit. Pursued Gobber for years for a missing bone piece.
